Prices & Fees

             We try to keep our prices competitive and fair. We have a basic shop rate which includes all work in the shop or at another location, if needed. We do have flat rates for some items such as propeller dynamic balancing services, cold weather preheat, etc.

Shop Rate:                  $62.50/hr.
Flight Instruction:         $30/hr.
Pilot Service:               $30/hr.
Pilot waiting service:    $15/hr.
Piper Archer Rental
   Without fuel:             $49/hr.
Headset rental
   Per flight hour:            $2/hr.
Garmin 496 Rental
   Per flight hour:          $10/hr.
Travel mileage (plus $15/hr labor rate during travel)
            Auto:               50¢/mile
            Airplane:         hourly rental rate plus fuel

Airplane Rides
Rides are charged as above for Piper Archer Rental and Pilot Service combined. The airplane can accommodate up to three passengers. Flight time is recorded on a Hobbs hour meter (1/10th of an hour increments).

Dynamic Prop Balance
            Prices include travel up to 50 mile radius from Estherville. If there are multiple aircraft to balance at one location, a package deal can be arranged.
            Reciprocating engine:
                        To check balance only (no adjustment needed):         $150 each engine
                        To balance to .05 IPS:                                              $275    “      “
            Turbine engine:

Aircraft Weighing
            We have scales to weigh most single reciprocating engine airplanes. New weight and balance report generated. $600.
            Scales can be rented for $300/week plus shipping and $500/scale insurance. Please contact us for more information on scale rental.
